The storied gentleman you see here is none other than me, RC! What does it stand for? Well that’ll be up to the loving household can offer this 10-year old man a peaceful home to enjoy his golden years in! If you couldn’t tell from my wonky ears and my lack of teeth, my life has been quite a journey and I’d love nothing more than to find my forever family to settle down with. I’m an affectionate guy who loves to take naps on your lap! Having no teeth means I sometimes leave my tongue hanging out in an adorable “blep”! And while these old bones still enjoy a little laser pointer chase from time to time, I’m happiest getting to enjoy relaxation time alongside my favorite people. I thought I had found my people back in 2022, even moving out to Dallas, Texas with them! But the arrival of their new baby (who I didn’t get along with) meant me getting surrendered to a shelter 1,320+ miles away…Thankfully, Fancy Cats swooped in with the save thanks to my handy microchip info and a dedicated volunteer who was fortunately in town at the time. After a multi-hour airplane ride, I made it safely back to Virginia to start fresh! After all that, I think I’ve had enough cross-country adventuring at this point and am ready to settle down in a quiet home with no babies, young children, or other pets. I would like my humans all to myself, please! Also know that because I’m an older cat, my kidneys are starting to get a bit rusty, so I’m on a diet of vet prescribed Renal Support food to best keep my golden years going comfortably! And not to worry, my litter box manners are immaculate! If I sound like a good fit for your household, please give this old fella a chance to be your best buddy! Adoption fee includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchipAdoption fee: $100.00

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
