In the shelter’s words
Maple is a beautiful tortoiseshell who is a quiet sweetheart with a gentle spirit. Naturally shy, she thrives in calm, patient environments where she can warm up at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. Maple would do best in a home with a confident feline friend or littermate who can help her feel secure and show her the ropes. She also gets along well with calm, respectful dogs and older children who understand how to give a shy kitten the time and space they need to build confidence. If you are looking for a companion who will grow to love you deeply once she feels safe, Maple may be your perfect match. With a little patience and a lot of love, she will be a loyal and loving addition to your family.
