In the shelter’s words
DOB: 12/20/2022 If you’re looking for a cat with some serious cattitude, Reese is for you! Reese and her sister recently left the rough and tumble of the outdoor lifestyle for a more posh indoor life. It’s been an exciting, but at times scary, adjustment for her. The sass required to be an outdoor kitty has, shall we say, stuck with Reese a bit making for quite a fun purrrrsonality. Reese has HUGE green eyes too! They can be a bit soul piercing but are full or silliness and love! She also has quite the love for churus! She will actively grab your hand to ensure she gets every last drop of Churu! Reese is a silly and sweet girl that has been waiting quite awhile for her fur-ever home. Consider giving this silly and adorable girl a chance! Come meet me at the cage free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**

We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $125 for kittens 6 months and younger; $75 for kittens over 6 months and adults up to 7 years; $50 for 7 years and older. If adopting 2 kittens/cats at the same time there is a $25 discount. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), microchip, flea prevention, vaccinations (FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies are old enough to receive a rabies vaccine). If not, the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done.
