Meet Opal! Opal is a sweet, loving 8-year-old Redbone Coonhound who's ready to find her forever home! She's an energetic and playful girl who loves being outside and putting her sniffer to work. This lovely lady is looking for a home with older kids and would thrive in an active family who can keep up with her energy. She's dog-friendly, but we're unsure about cats. Opal is crate and house trained, and while she's sweet as can be, she can get a little jumpy and nippy when she gets excitedso she's best suited for a family ready to guide her through that! Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
