In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Newman! I came to M'Shoogy's after being found on my own, and while my life has changed a lot since then, I'm still searching for the one thing I want most—a forever home to call my own. I'm a sweet boy who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for me to warm up. Once I feel comfortable, you'll be rewarded with happy purrs and plenty of affection. I also enjoy the company of my feline friends and love spending time playing and wrestling with my roommates. With a little patience and lots of love, my confidence continues to grow every day. If you're looking for a gentle companion who will blossom in a caring home, I might be the perfect match. Come meet me at M'Shoogy's and see if we're meant to be together!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
