Hi, I'm Janet Jackson! I'm 5 months old. I am building my career after having to take some time off. I was quite the dancer when my littermates and I performed as a group. I took "break a leg" seriously and actually broke my leg. LOL Now that my splint is off and the vet says I can take to the stage again, I'm ready to be a solo act. I like being the star of the show and I'm a Dancing Machine! I may not moonwalk like my brother Michael but I do like dancing in the sunshine! I LOVE all my fans including kids and other dogs too! I love squeeky toys, cuddles, kisses, and belly rubs. I'm know my A, B, Cs, & 1, 2, 3s. I'm good at singing when I have to go potty if I'm in my crate or going to the door to be let outside. I don't remember my parents but my foster mom thinks maybe they were part Mountain Cur and Boston Terrier? Applicants must fill out an application at www.adoptapitrescue.org/apply. We screen all applications, with approved applicants passing a vet and landlord check. All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and on year-round heartworm preventative. Non-homeowners must have permission from their landlord to have a dog. Once approved, we schedule a home visit, where an adoption representative takes the dog to the adopter's home to see if the dog is a good fit for the family and other pets, as well as verify the home is a safe environment for the dog. If everyone feels the dog is a good fit, a contract is signed, adoption fee is paid, and the family takes possession of the dog, unless other arrangements are made. Typical adoption fees are $175 for adult dogs and $200 for puppies. We reserve the right to charge different fees for "designer" breeds. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested, and on heartworm preventative at the time of adoption. All dogs have been examined by our veterinarian and given a clean bill of health at the time of adoption.
