In the shelter’s words
Hi, Iâm Tri-Tip! Part-time comedian, full-time charmer, and professional people-personâthatâs me! Iâm still figuring out all the ins and outs of this big world, but Iâm already an expert in a few important things: making friends, appreciating a good piece of cheese, and enjoying a nice, long walk at the Baylands! I love strolling alongside my buddies, taking in all the sights and smells, and pondering lifeâs biggest questions (like when the next cheese snack is coming). Need someone to listen while you talk about your day? Iâm your guy! Iâve got a big heart, a social spirit, and two very good ears ready for all your stories. Come meet me, and letâs make every walk a little cheesier and a whole lot sweeter!

Confirm which location the animal is at. Our adoptable animals reside at our Redwood City shelter, our Palo Alto shelter, and in foster homes. If you have your eye on someone special, be sure to check their profile on our website and confirm which location they are at. View our business hours and locations here. Visit our shelters. Make sure to bring everyone in your household with you. If you are interested in adopting a dog and currently have a resident dog, please bring him or her as well. It is not required, but to help expedite the adoption process, consider filling out an adoption application before visiting. Please note that an adult must accompany all visitors under the age of 18. We look forward to seeing you soon.
