In the shelter’s words
Adoption Fee: $40Steve is a very large boy who can be nervous at first But really just wants to be everyone's friend. He was trapped outdoors at around 3 years old and has a few battle scars but he's enjoying his safe indoor life now. Steve tested positive for FIV, so please read current information on FIV by following the link below. FIV is not a death sentence. Many FIV cats live long, happy, healthy lives with other cats successfully. Please let us know if you have any questions.https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Please apply today! If not already on caretoadopt.org, please visit www.caretoadopt.org to view the complete pet profile. Applications to adopt are found on this website as well. To speed up the adoption process, completed applications may be emailed to caretoadopt@gmail.com. *** Breeds are our best guess based on experience and research. *** All cats receive a distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, microchip, dewormer, FELV/FIV combo test, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
