In the shelter’s words
Pearl, Luna, Marshmallow, Opal, Ghostie are 5 female albino rats who are 4 months old. They are super sweet and friendly once they get to know you. They will occasionally nibble (especially if you put your fingers through the bars) but they are very curious, love snacks, will let you hold them for short periods of time( would change as they grow more comfortable with you) We will only adopt these girls out in pairs of 2/3 or all 5 together. You will need your own habitat and supplies. Adoption fee: $ 90 per pair (6% KY sales tax included) We would love to hear from you! To inquire about this small animal, please contact us via this site, visit our website sc4paws.org to see a full bio, or visit sc4paws.rescuegroups.org/forms/ to fill out our adoption application. SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Small Animals: To prioritize the health and well-being of our small animals, Scott County Humane Society no longer performs routine spay or neuter surgeries on guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, or other small companion animals(except for rabbits). These procedures can carry a higher anesthetic and surgical risk for small animals. Each animal is instead evaluated individually to ensure the best possible care. HELP TO SPONSOR THIS SMALL ANIMAL BY MAKING A DONATION! SCHS is a 501(c)-3 nonprofit organization that is volunteer-run.
