In the shelter’s words

Chops is an all-around wonderful, well-behaved dog with a wonderfully young and playful spirit! He is housetrained, respects the rules of the house, and has never chewed or destroyed anything other than a few of his own toys. This extraordinarily friendly, sweet, and soft-hearted boy truly enjoys life. He loves playing with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy—he might even make a great role model for a younger dog! Push-and-pull games, zooming around a big yard, and goofing around with his toys are some of his favorite things.Chops is intelligent, curious, and loves exploring the outdoors. When playtime is over, his softer side shines through: if invited, Chops would happily snuggle up and take a nap in bed with you.**A few things to know about Chops:**Commands: Sit, come, go lay down, noHousetrained: YesHandling: Comfortable with all handlingTreats: Takes them nicelyLeash: Generally good; may pull when excitedCar rides: Very goodDogs: Great with other dogsHe has had no problems with children observed so far and has been around horses while on leash.
