Beetle is ready to get up and go! This happy boy is eager to meet both people and other dogs. He is very energetic and would do well with an owner who has had experience with herding breeds. Beetle currently weighs 55 lbs.Beetle is Heartworm Positive and in need of a foster home to begin treatment. He is still available for adoption as we will continue to cover the medical cost of his treatment until recovered.All medical is covered under our Emergency Medical Fund. If you are interested in donating, you can contact the shelter at 707-840-9132 or online at www.dogrescuers.org and specify that it is for the shelter's Emergence Medical Fund.If you're interested in meeting Beetle, please visit https://humboldtgov.org/2658/Animal-Shelter and fill out an application to be pre-approved to make an appointment.
