In the shelter’s words
Meet Hippo! Hippo is a shy but incredibly sweet girl who just needs a little time to decompress and adjust to new surroundings. Once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality truly shines. She has a wonderful history with other cats and would really benefit from having a feline friend in her new homeâher previous family even shared that she loves to cuddle with other cats AND dogs. She has also done well with young children, making her a lovely fit for a home that introduces new friends slowly and thoughtfully. Hippo's ideal family is one who understands that patience and calm support will help her thrive. With proper slow introductions and a safe space to settle in, sheâs sure to become a loving, easygoing companion. If youâre looking for a tender-hearted cat who blossoms beautifully with kindness and time, Hippo could be your perfect match!
