DOB: 8/13/26 They say a name is a destiny, and let us introduce you to Karen . This tiny, stunning tabby-and-white feline, she is very small, but has very BIG energy! She has a few notes for her future management team (that’s you). Her top requirement? Attention. Karen does not do well with neglect. In fact, if you ignore her, she will likely want to speak to your manager (also her). When she’s not demanding pets, Despite her spicy attitude, Karen is looking for a lifetime contract. Her life has been disrupted several times, so she will need a loving, patient household that understands she needs space and time to decompress and learn to trust again. She’s had enough change for one small cat! Karen is also demanding exclusivity. She has made it very clear that she does not care for other cats, and will require a single-pet household where she is the center of the universe—exactly as it should be. We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $125 for kittens 6 months and younger; $75 for kittens over 6 months and adults up to 7 years; $50 for 7 years and older. If adopting 2 kittens/cats at the same time there is a $25 discount. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), microchip, flea prevention, vaccinations (FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies are old enough to receive a rabies vaccine). If not, the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done.
