In the shelter’s words
This boy was found meowing for help in a puddle on a Bed-Stuy street corner, but his luck changed the moment he met his rescuers. He eagerly approached for food, then happily jumped into a carrier as if he already knew us! Now safe and sound, he’s ready to fill your home with affection and a handsome, dark gray. and white coat. Whodini/Chirp was recently neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, and given a clean bill of health by the vet. He even let the vet trim his nails! I've only known him for a short time, but he is incredibly sweet despite what he's been through in the last few days. He was purring and showing me his stomach while I was cleaning him earlier today and has a very disarming gaze. I think he may have been abandoned, given his comfort around people. He strikes me as a survivor with a heart full of love to give. All he needs is a forever home where he can snuggle up, purr away, and remind you every day how grateful he is for a second chance. This is a courtesy listing, meaning the cat(s) are being offered for adoption by a rescuer, rescue group, or individual unaffiliated with the Brooklyn Cat Cafe or Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition. As BBAWC has not evaluated the animal(s) we therefore cannot provide information on health or temperament. After we receive an application, we will connect you with the current caretaker of this cat.
