About MeMeet Juju Bean, a high-energy puppy with a zest for life and a heart full of love! This outgoing little pup is always on the move—whether she’s chasing after a ball, wrestling with her dog friends, or playing tug-of-war. Juju Bean is smart, inquisitive, and loves attention from her people. She’s crate and leash trained, and she’s working hard on her potty routine with frequent breaks as she settles into home life. Juju Bean thrives on playtime and would be happiest in an active home where she can get plenty of stimulation and exercise as well as continued training. Juju Bean is currently living with cats and learning to respect their boundaries—her terrier energy means she might chase, but she’s picking up on their cues. She is friendly with other dogs and plays well with children, making her a great fit for a lively family. If you’re looking for a sweet, outgoing, playful companion, Juju Bean is waiting to meet you. Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
