In the shelter’s words
Meet Hootie! Sweet Hootie is around 7 years old and about 30 lbs. He is a little on the plump side and could lose a few pounds but we don't judge... We're not sure of his breed mix but he has a Corgi look to him. Super cute! Hootie is a very sweet boy. He loves other dogs, is great with kids and good with cats. An allrounder! He walks nicely on a leash and does well in the car. His only fault is that he is a velcro dog - he likes to follow you around the house so be prepared for some prying eyes when you're in the bathroom. Hootie will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450

We pull dogs from kill shelters and place them with fosters or trial adopters. All adoptions have 2 week trial. Adoption donation is made after trial period and certificate of ownership is issued. We also bring animals from owner surrenders into our organization so that they never enter the shelter system. We check references for all applicants and complete home checks. A great deal of our dogs are transported from CA to Seattle once we have found a foster or trial for them.
