In the shelter’s words
Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact (Current Owner of Dog): Rebecca Masterson; 602-315-9466; Rebecca.masterson@me.com MEET LUCKY #17!! Lucky is a loyal and intelligent companion with a gentle soul who’s ready to find a calm, loving home. Rescued from the county shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list due to valley fever, he has been decompressing in a home environment and is already showing how devoted he can be. Lucky is a bit timid and skittish at first, but with slow introductions and patience, he quickly warms up and forms a strong bond—he’s the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room just to be near his person. He’s house-trained, obedient, eager to please, and enjoys toys, making him both low-key and easy to care for. Lucky does well with other dogs when introduced properly, while his compatibility with cats and children is unknown. He would thrive in a peaceful, predictable home with someone who understands his need for a little time to build trust, and in return, he’ll offer unwavering loyalty and affection.
