In the shelter’s words

Meet Pongo — a soft, sweet, dilute tortie looking for her forever home. P ongo is a young dilute tortoiseshell with a soft coat, a chirpy little meow, and a big heart. After being abandoned in an RV, she arrived shy and unsure — but now she’s showing her true colors. She loves other cats, enjoys playtime, and will gently nudge your hand for pets. Once she trusts you, she becomes a wonderful lap cat who melts right in. She’s still a bit suspicious of new things, but she’s brave, sweet, and trying her best every day. Pongo is looking for a forever home that understands cautious cats and appreciates slow‑blooming love. She’s a joy to have around and will make a beautiful companion. Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $188. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference. Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our: Facebook page Website homepage at www.straylovefoundation.org
