In the shelter’s words
Hi! I'm Karomi, a bundle of energy and curiosity packed into one playful pup! Every day is a new adventure for me. I love exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings, always sniffing out fun. I'm still learning how to be the best dog I can be, so I jump a lot when I'm excited. But with a bit of training, I know I can learn all the good doggy manners. If you're looking for a lively friend who's eager to learn and play, I'm your girl! Let's discover the fun of life together! I am eligible for a Doggy Day Out, apply at www.spcamc.org/day-out to take me on an outing!

Plan a visit with the source organization
1. Visit the SPCA at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. 2. Visit with the pet you are interested in adopting to see if his personality fits your lifestyle. If you are adopting a dog, you can meet him in one of our new dog condo rooms or play in one of our play yards. 3. Complete family introductions (every member of the family living in the house with the animal must meet and visit with the animal prior to adoption to ensure a happy fit for everyone). 4. If you are adopting a new dog and already have one at home, our animal care staff will assist you with introducing your current dog to the dog you are hoping to adopt to ensure a good match. 5. The SPCA adoption process takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. All paperwork, vaccination records, and microchip information will be provided at this time. Adoption fees range from $20 to $290. 6. Take your new lifelong family member home!
